Summary
The comparison of electric defrosting power, the mass and the cost of 1 m2 of cooling surface for chosen producers of air coolers present on the Polish market is described in the article as well as the theoretical efficiency coefficients of defrosting for three groups of air coolers with different fin pitches. The relation between the cost of 1 m2 of heat exchanger and defrosting power and the relation between the cost and the surface area of the heat exchanger is also shown.
