Analysis of the subcooling on refrigerating systems using R410A or R404A.

Summary

Both R410A and R404A present low critical temperatures, in the range of 72.5 °C. Consequently, the refrigerating capacity and the energy efficiency of the system decrease substantially when condensing temperature rises. Subcooling, either by external group or by superfeed, improves drastically the refrigerating capacity and the COP.
