Anticipating the performance of drop-in refrigerant alternatives.

Summary
The performance of several refrigerants in a conventional household refrigerator used as simple drop-in alternatives to R12 is presented. The results are correlated by simple physical relationships providing a method to determine the likely performance and an estimate of optimum charge and capacity for any refrigerant in the same refrigerator.
