Summary
The study was carried out to assess the possibility to use compression heat pumps to increase the temperature carrier of low-waste energy. We have analyzed thermodynamic cycles of heat pumps that use CO2, N2O and zeotropic mixture of R124, R142b and R600a as refrigerant, and are implemented at extreme temperatures of evaporation and condensation.
