Application of microwaves for the desorption process of sorption refrigerating systems.
Author(s) : QUESADA G., HEINEN K. U., HERRERA O.
Summary
First results of the introduction of microwave technology into sorption refrigerating systems based on zeolite/water are presented. The influences of some design and operating parameters have been examined. As a result of experiments, a COP of about 0.42 can be achieved in this sorption refrigerating system.
