Dynamic simulation and experiments of a heat regenerative adsorption heat pump.

Author(s) : WU J. Y., WANG R. Z., XU Y. X.

Summary

The presented heat pump runs with activated carbon and methanol. The mathematical models are presented. The curves of the system's variables vs. specific cooling power and COP are obtained by numerical calculation. To assess the validity of the model, a lot of experiments with different operative parameters are finished. The experiment results agree with calculated data. The performance of the system can be predicted and the optimum operation parameters can be selected.
