Summary
It is an important step for China to develop new sustainable energy sources and to improve the environment, reducing for example the air pollution. A huge amount of low grade energy stored in such as water(including sea, lake and river), ground and air, etc., can not be utilized directly, which is renewable and green energy. The main purpose of this study is to put forward a scheme in which sea water source heat pump is adopted as heat and cold source in buildings. The analysis is carried out in detail from the technical and economical perspectives. The conclusion is that SSHP system is feasible.
