THE MLG-27 LEAK DETECTOR OPERATES ON HIGH-VOLTAGE CORONA DISCHARGE AND FEATURES HIGH SENSITIVITY TO THE QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF LEAKS IN REFRIGERATING PLANT HANDLING HALOGENATED REFRIGERANTS. SALIENT FEATURES OF THE NEWLY DEVELOPED UNIT ARE VARIABLE SENSITIVITY, SHORT RESPONSE TIME, PHYSICAL COMPENSATION OF PLACE CONTAMINATION, FAST SERVICEABILITY AND OPTIONAL MAINS AND BATTERY OPERATION. MENTION IS MADE OF THE UNIT SPECIFICATIONS, AND SUITABLE LEAK DETECTION METHODS ARE RECOMMENDED.
