THE COMPOSITION AND OPERATING CONDITION OF REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT VEHICLES IN CHINA AND THE TRENDS OF THE SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT OF REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT VEHICLES CAN BE SUMMARISED AS FOLLOWS: CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE RAILCARS SHOULD AMOUNT TO 6% OF THE TOTAL OF RAILCARS ; IN THE NEAR FUTURE, RAILCARS COOLED BY WATER ICE AND INSULATED RAILCARS AMOUNTING TO 10% OFTHE TOTAL WILL BE BUILT ; LATER ON, THE MECHANICALLY REFRIGERATED RAILCARS SHOULD AMOUNT TO 60% OF CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE RAILCARS ; PRECOOLING PLANT FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES SHOULD BE BUILT.
