Summary
This paper introduced an IOR debate in February 2014 which has discussed whether doors on open retail display cabinets is a technology that will be widely applied by supermarkets in the future. The aim of this paper is to provide the facts that exist regarding the use of doors and to assess whether applying doors to open fronted cabinets has technical and economic benefits.
