Summary
The book includes the proceedings of the Meeting of Commissions B2, C2 and E2, which was held in September 1992, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Forty one papers were presented, either in French or English, on the following topics: effect of CFCs on the environment; domestic equipment; energy savings and recovery; design and operation of refrigerating equipment, and computer-assisted design; heat and mass transfers during chilling, freezing and thawing of foodstuffs, and cold storage; controlled and modified atmospheres; chilling and prechilling of food. Most of these papers will be abstracted in a further issue of the Bulletin. The proceedings are available at the IIR.
