Summary
Different systems for automotive air conditioning are described and their advantages and disadvantages are presented. Mechanical energy systems include compression-liquefaction cycles, air cycles, thermoelectric systems, Stirling cycles. Thermal energy systems include ejector and turbine systems, absorption machines, adsorption cycles and metal hydride systems. J.L.
