Behaviour of transport refrigeration units under frosting conditions.

Summary

The functioning of 4 refrigeration units of different manufacture has been experimentally investigated from 0 to 8 deg C air temperatures and at a relative humidity from 85 to 90%, that is to say general operating conditions. The control of refrigerating capacity, and particularly the on-off action, have an important effect on the temperature at the air aperture and on the efficiency of the unit.
