Summary

In order to verify that the cold chain has been complied with during transport of fresh products in refrigerated vehicles, it is necessary to record temperatures in a precise and chronological way. "Davifrais", which is the fresh products branch of the "Davigel" company, has fitted its vehicles with such a control system for 2 years and the results are satisfactory. Control methods and the fitting of the device in the system are described, and various advantages are given, notably the better knowledge of data (30 million measurements) due to data processing which is now indispensible.
