The need for good temperature control when transporting frozen and chilled produce is discussed, and suggestions are made concerning suitable measuring points in the cargo and transport equipment. A number of mechanical and electronic temperature measuring devices are reviewed together with chemical based time-temperature indicators. G.R.S.
