Summary

This document presents Professor Fléchon's work on a photothermal solar refrigerator and a solar sterilizer. With G. Godmel, Prof. Fléchon has developed a photothermal system employing a physicochemical process covered by an international patent; these appliances have now been industrially produced. In order to enable manufacture of these appliances, the researchers developed a solar drying oven that can be used for sterilization of medical equipment, domestic cooking or water production.
