Author(s) : GRIGG N. P., DALY J., STEWART M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper presents a case study which demonstrates that simple, manual statistical process control systems involve very little statistical knowledge to establish and operate. Such systems, it is argued, can reduce unnecessary chekweigher rejections and product giveaway, assist with Trading Standard inspections and improve customer confidence.
