Summary
Samples of Russian wheat grain of various moisture content were stored in hermetically sealed vessels (capacity 1.5 litres) at 14 plus or minus 1.5 °C for up to 6 months. The initial grain moisture content was 11.75 to 23.45%, and the grain accounted for 92% of the volume of the vessels. Changes in the grain were monitored wih an aquasearch-600 grain analyses (Kett Electric Laboratory, Japan). The results are shown in graphs, and indicate that the intensity of changes in the grain depend upon its initial moisture content.
