THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT FREEZING PROCEDURES AND STORAGE CONDITIONS FOR BRAIN TISSUE ON THE SYNAPTOSOMAL DOPAMINE UPTAKE WAS ASSESSED. USING A FREEZING PROCEDURE: 1.2 K/MIN TO 248 K (-25 DEG C), PLUNGING INTO LN2 WITH 0.7 MOL/L DMSO THE DOPAMINE UPTAKE WAS UNCHANGED.
