PROPYL-AND METHYL-PARABENE, AT 0.1 AND 0.2%, INHIBIT THE GROWTH OF FISH PSYCHROPHILES. ORTHOCHLOROBENZOIC ACID, SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE AND POLYETHYLENEGLYCOL ARE INEFFECTIVE. DEHYDR0ACETIC ACID, AMMONIA AND NITROFURANES (SEMICARBAZONE AND AF2) INHIBIT THE GROWTH OF FISH PSYCHROPHILES. SODIUM NITRITE HAS NO INHIBITING EFFECT. (Bull. bibliogr.
