Author(s) : BULLARD C., INAN C., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors report on a technique for determining exterior and interior water mass transport in domestic refrigerator cabinets. They present water vapour mass transfer rates from the fresh-food cabinet to the evaporator, and water vapour mass transfer rates from the surrounding ambient into the cabinet. The article presents an estimate of the energy impact of water mass transfer into a typical domestic refrigerator cabinet.
