CO2 heat pumps for space heating and tap water heating.
Author(s) : RIEBERER R., NEKSÅ P., SCHIEFLOE P. A.
Summary
A very promising application for CO2 heat pumps is tap water heating. System testing with a prototype has shown that for the Oslo climate a seasonal performance factor of 4 can be achieved when water is heated from 8 to 60 °C and ambient air is used as heat source. Further investigations have shown that CO2 heat pumps are very suitable for space heating.
