Summary
Most equations used to calculate the heat transfer coefficient during liquefaction are based on research performed on refrigerants such as R11, R12 and R22, which are rarely used or no longer used at all. Variations in the heat transfer coefficient are presented in the form of graphs. The author also presents a comparison of heat transfer coefficients during the condensation of R22 and R502 and their successors, R404A and R507.
