Summary
The paper presents an analysis of the main sources of noise and vibration during the operation of a refrigerating unit. The theoretical models for the vibrations of the two categories of compressor (a connecting-rod system or an eccentric shaft) result in different frequency spectra. From the point of view of the transmitted noise, measurements were made of the different sources of noise, using well known methods.
