Comparison of displacement and mixing diffusers.
Author(s) : JIANG Z., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Describes a numerical investigation of the airflow pattern, temperature stratification and contaminant dispersion in a furnished office ventilated by three air supply devices: a quarter cylinder displacement floor level diffuser, a mixing linear ceiling diffuser and a vortex ceiling diffuser. Analyses and compares the results of the three systems from point of view of air velocity, distribution of temperature and contamination.
