Summary

THERE IS AN ATTEMPT TO COMPARE HEAT EFFECTIVENESS OF EVAPORATIVE CONDENSER AND WATER-COOLED CONDENSER SYSTEMS. IT MAY BE CONCLUDED THAT THE 2 SYSTEMS ARE EQUIVALENT FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF HEAT EFFECTIVENESS. IN SELECTING HEAT TRANSFER SYSTEMS, CHARACTERISTICS OTHER THAN HEAT EFFECTIVENESS SHOULD THUS BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.
