DESCRIBES A 250 KILOWATT GAS ENGINE DRIVEN AIR-WATER COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP INSTALLED IN A GREENHOUSE IN THE NETHERLANDS. NOTES THE MONITORING OF THE HEAT PUMP OVER A FULL YEAR AS WERE THE CONVENTIONAL HEATING SYSTEM AND THE GREENHOUSE CLIMATE. REPORTS ON COMPUTER MODELS DEVELOPED, WHICH WERE VALIDATED ON THE MEASURED DATA AND SUBSEQUENTLY USED FOR EVALUATING THE HEAT PUMP PROJECT.
