Consider cryogenic methods to improve ammonia production.

Summary
Trends in ammonia plant design have two common themes: lower synthesis-loop operating pressure and reduced hydrogen-to-nitrogen ratio. Newer ammonia processes incorporate these trends. Such developments substantially influence technology selected to remove methane and argon inerts. Cryogenic techniques can efficiently remove inerts, and equally important, these methods can recover nitrogen as well as hydrogen with minimal pressure drop. These technologies are well suited for the next generation of ammonia plant designs.
