Summary

INTENDED AS A REPLACEMENT FOR OLD PLATE FREEZERS, A NEW CONTINUOUS CONVEYORIZED CHAIN FREEZER WAS DESIGNED FOR BOTH CONTINUOUS AND IQF FREEZING OF VEGETABLES, BERRIES AND MINOR FOOD ARTICLES. BY INCORPORATING TROLLEYS IN TWO PARALLEL CHAINS THE FREEZER IS CONVERTED TO A PASTY GOODS FREEZER, USING TRAYS AS GOODS CONTAINERS. A HEAT INSULATED CELL COMPRISES A CONVEYOR, HAVING AN OVERPRESSURE CHAMBER UNDERNEATH, RADIAL FANS, EVAPORATOR BLOCKS WITH DEFROSTING, TROLLEY GUIDES AND ADDITIONAL FANS FOR TROLLEY FREEZING.
