Summary

The purpose of this investigation is maintenance of the original shape of La(Fe0.88Si0.12)13Hy sintered bulk specimen after hydrogenation for intentional control of the Curie temperature(Tc). Homogenized La(Fe0.88Si0.12)13 powder could be molded into a bulk form with leaving pores in the range of 1 to 10 vol. % by controlling temperature of the spark plasma sintering (SPS). The plate with thickness of 0.4mm which was made from the bulk maintained its original shape after hydrogenation, while Tc was controlled.
