Summary
Zeotropic blends change temperature during evaporation (glide). The composition can alter following a leakage, and the evaporation temperature can increase. This increase is negligible (less than 1 deg C) for R502 substitutes but must be compensated when using R12 and R22 substitutes where the glide is around 3 deg C. The paper explains how adjustments could be done using different electronic expansion valve types.
