Summary
THE TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND THE DESIGN OF A CONTROL DEVICE ARE PRESENTED ; THIS CONTROL DEVICE IS A DETECTOR OF REFRIGERANT LEAKS (R12, R22, R502) AND OF LEAKS OF GAS CONTAINING HYDROGEN: HYDROGEN, HYDROGEN SULPHIDE, ETHANOL AND AMMONIA. THIS SENSOR IS A SEMICONDUCTOR ; IT IS A SORPTION DEVICE WHOSE OPERATION IS BASED ON THE CHANGE IN THE SURFACE ELETRICAL RESISTANCE OF THE WARMED RESISTIVE LAYER, DURING THE ABSORPTION BY THIS LAYER OF MOLECULES OF THE GAS BEING CONTROLLED. THIS DEVICE IS SUITABLE FOR FIRMS HAVING REFRIGERATION UNIT PRODUCTION LINES OR WHICH REPAIR THEM. C.C.
