SOME CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR SMALL CAPACITY LIBR ABSORPTION MACHINES WITH NATURAL CIRCULATION OF THE SOLUTION, ON-OFF CYCLE, VARIATION IN THE FLOW RATE OR THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HEATING FLUID, ARE CALCULATED. THE ON-OFF CYCLE MAY SEVERELY AFFECT THE AVERAGE COP OF THE MACHINE, THE COMBINED VARIATION OF THE FLOW RATE AND THE TEMPERATURE OF HEATING FLUID GIVES MUCH BETTER RESULTS, EVEN IF THERE ARE DRAWBACKS FOR SOLAR PLANT.
