Control strategy and experimental research on sensible heat defrosting.

Author(s) : LIANG C., ZHANG X., LI X.

Summary

The authors propose a new defrosting method - sensible heat defrosting, aiming at solving the various disadvantages of conventional reverse cycle defrosting, furthermore, the mechanism is analyse. To guarantee reliability, they introduce the adapting-control algorithm with self-learning function to the cardinal fuzzy control algorithm, based on which, we designed the corresponding adapting-fuzzy-control system, developed the corresponding controlling unit and conducted the experimental research. The results of the experiments show that this algorithm has good control characteristic and effect. On one hand, the adverse shock from the conventional reverse cycle defrosting to the refrigeration system could be avoided through the sensible heating defrosting method; on the other hand, the "oil rush" could also be eliminated. Furthermore, it has improved the comfort of the system with the temperature of the supplied water fluctuating with the range of 5°C.
