Summary

Cooling and dehumidifying coils are an interesting model for the analysis of mass and energy transfer, with important technical applications. The theoretical and actual processes involved, controlled by enthalpy potential, are explained and plotted, and the parameters acting by pass factor, thermal resistance and coil capacity are analysed. Finally, exergy losses are evaluated, and the work conclusions are validated by comparative analysis with information included in manufacturer technical catalogs.
