Cooling system of the lambda wheels silicon detector.
Author(s) : VASSILIEV A., NIKANOROV A., CHERNOV N., et al.
Summary
Two wheel shaped arrays of silicon strip detectors were placed in between the down-stream end of the storage cell and the vortex chamber. The paper presents a cooling system, using Peltier effect, for silicon detection. The Peltier modules are placed between two loops, carrying the heat from the detectors to an external water line.
