Prospects for thermo-electric refrigeration.
Author(s) : SINYAVSKY J.
Summary
A thermo-electric refrigeration process is described. The application of an alternating electric field upon certain products (leaded ceramics, scandium and tantalum), causes temperature variations which can be utilized. These variations are small and the means to increase them are being investigated. Research possibilities are mentioned; theoretical performance is evaluated and presented.
