Summary

The adaptation of the curricula of the master and degree studies to the new educational framework of the European Higher Education System implies a new approach to both the content and the teaching methodology used, with the aim of transforming the teaching-learning process and make it migrate from the master class, focused on transfering the contents, to the flip teaching centered on the autonomous activity of the student. This article presents the structure and experience after 2 years of teaching (courses 2015-2016 and 2016-2017) of a subject entitled 'Design-project of energy systems' belonging to the Master's Degree in Energy Technology for Sustainable Development at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where, from the beginning, the subject was conceived taking into account this new educational framework, adapting the style of teaching and the programming of the subject for that purpose.
