Correlating the heat transfer coefficient during in-tube cooling of turbulent supercritical carbon dioxide.

Summary

An extensive study of the heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics of supercritical carbon dioxide during in tube cooling, was carried out by the authors. A new correlation to predict the heat transfer coefficient of supercritical carbon dioxide during in-tube cooling was developed based on the numerical predictions and experimental data. The new correlation is presented in the paper.
