Summary
New correlations for the deposition rate and entrainment rate of droplets in vertical upward annular flow were developed from simple models and available experimental data. The experimental data for air-water annular flow were used in the development of the present correlations since extensive databases were available. It was however confirmed that the present model provides satisfactory agreements with the experimental data for high-pressure steam-water annular flow.
