Creating the environment.
Author(s) : FORD R.
Summary
The paper deals briefly with the conditions which make passengers within a railway vehicle happy, the factors which make the required conditions vary, and how systems should be designed to satisfy those needs. Comfort is not merely about the climate - or internal weather conditions. The concept of stress/strain limitation is introduced as the basis for understanding total comfort.
