Summary

SUPERCONDUCTING CRITICAL CURRENT WAS MEASURED ON THIS SINGLE CRYSTAL. THE CRYSTAL WAS GROWN FROM NONSTOICHIOMETRIC MELT WITH AN EXCESS OF COPPER-OXIDE AND BARIUM-OXIDE. THE CRITICAL CURRENT REACHED THE VALUE 250 A/CM2 AT LIQUID-NITROGEN TEMPERATURE IN EARTH MAGNETIC FIELD AND DISPLAYED A WEAK DECREASE WITH MAGNETIC FIELDS OF UP TO 15 MILLIT.
