Summary

EXPERIMENTS WERE PERFORMED CORRELATING TISSUE TEMPERATURE AND CURRENT FLOW DURING FREEZING CANINE SKIN. THE OBSERVATIONS INDICATED THAT CURRENT FLOW WAS RELATED TO TISSUE TEMPERATURE AND THAT EITHER OR BOTH COULD BE USED TO PREDICT TISSUE DESTRUCTION IN CRYOSURGERY. HOWEVER, TISSUE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT IS THE MORE ACCURATE METHOD OF QUANTIFICATION.
