IT IS SHOWN THAT TISSUE TEMPERATURES ARE THE MORE ACCURATE AND USEFUL MONITORING TECHNIQUE TO SUPPLEMENT CLINICAL JUDGEMENT. HOWEVER, IMPEDANCE TECHNIQUES MAY ALSO BE USED TO MONITOR THERAPY, ESPECIALLY IF USED PRIMARILY TO MONITOR DEPTH OF THERAPY, AND IF CONTROLLED BY CLINICAL JUDGEMENT WARY OF THE INACCURACY OF THE TECHNIQUE.
