Summary

This booklet was published in November 1992 on the occasion of the 4th Meeting of parties to the Montreal Protocol, held in Copenhagen. It gives a brief account of Danish actions against the depletion of the ozone layer, and of the progress made in phasing out the use of ozone depleting substances. Also the instruments used are described: support for research and development, ban on the use of ozone depleting substances and tax on CFCs and halons.
