Summary

STATES THAT THE ENERGY DEMAND FOR CENTRAL HEATING CAN BE REDUCED SIGNIFICANTLY BY INSTALLING THE HEAT GENERATOR DIRECTLY IN THE ROOMS TO BE HEATED. TREATS SMALL HEAT PUMPS USING OUTSIDE AIR AS A HEAT SOURCE AND WARMING THE ROOM AIR DIRECTLY. COMPACT HEAT PUMPS ALSO PERMIT ROOM VENTILATION WITH SIMULTANEOUS EXHAUST AIR HEAT RECOVERY. ILLUSTRATES AND DESCRIBES SEVERAL THROUGH-WALL VERSIONS. POINTS OUT THAT THIS TYPE OF DECENTRALISED SMALL HEAT PUMP HEATING IS AS ECONOMICAL IN THE USE OF PRIMARY FUEL AS DISTRICT HEATING, BUT WITHOUT THE HIGH INITIAL COST OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE. (INT.
