Summary

C14 LABELLED METHOMYL WAS SPRAYED ON STRAWBERRIES 7 AND 14 DAYS PRIOR TO HARVESTING. THE FRUIT WERE STORED AT 253 K (-20 DEG C) FOR 1, 30 OR 120 DAYS. METHOMYL WAS EXTRACTED BY METHANOL IN A POLYTRON HOMOGENISER. THE RATIO OF CARBON 14 WAS DETERMINED. THE FREEZING OF STRAWBERRIES CAUSED A DEGRADATION OF PRESENT METHOMYL. -(Bull. bibliogr.
