Summary
This article describes a contact air dehumidification system using a liquid desiccant (in this case lithium chloride); the liquid is cooled before drying the air to be treated, and is warmed before the regenerated air is once again humidified. The condenser and evaporator of an ammonia heat pump are used to heat and cool the liquid.
