Design method for shell-and-tube condensers in refrigeration units.
Author(s) : KULIS F., COMPINGT A., MERCIER P., RIVIER P.
Summary
High-performance tubes are increasingly popular in evaporator and condenser design as a way to cut costs and size. At the same time, precise and reliable design is becoming essential to getting the most out of enhanced tubular surfaces. Based on a finite volume method, a design method was developed for shell-and-tube condensers.
