Design of medium temperature dehumidifier systems.

Summary

A calibrated empirical model for a dehumidifier drier is used to establish the influence of the design parameters on the efficiency and capacity of the system at temperatures from 20 to 60 deg C and 10 to 95% relative humidity. The purpose of the paper is to show how the energy efficiency and drying capacity of dehumidifier driers can be optimized in a robust way. Desirable design features for the dehumidifier system at different operating conditions are identified, and improved methods of application are presented.
